Welcome to the Charleston Joint PTA

The Charleston Joint PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a group of parents/guardians and staff who collaborate to develop programs and activities for the students of Mark Twain, Carl Sandburg and Jefferson Elementary schools. Building these relationships helps further enhance our students' experience at our schools. The PTA is wonderful way to get involved with the schools and to give back to the schools that give our children so much.

The vision of Charleston Joint PTA is every child’s potential is a reality.  Our mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
 Who we are:
The Charleston Joint PTA is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.   We support over 1500 students and 150 staff between the three Charleston elementary schools.  We are a diverse organization made up of moms, dads, caregivers, teachers and administrators.

Attending a monthly PTA Meeting is an easy and great way to stay involved in your child's school, meet teachers and other staff, meet other parents and support the PTA.

Committee Meetings start at 6:30 p.m.
Board Meetings start at 7:00 p.m.

Charleston Joint PTA members are welcomed to attend and participate in one or both meetings.
